After finding a box of discarded old photographs and taking them home, I could not help having this overriding feeling of intrigue and uneasiness as I leafed through this family's history which dated from the early 1900's to 50's.

In my art I try to approach the fragility of time and the means in which we try to preserve and archive our past. A second theme of the my work is the anonymity of this family. With no names or written history, I am left controlled freedom to reconstruct their history, and explore what could have possibly happened behind closed doors.
